Welcome to Backcountry Art & Tie-Dye, where Colorado's mountains inspire everything I create.

My name is Clyde Jones, and I've called Breckenridge home for nearly two decades. Every trail, alpine meadow, aspen grove, and mountain sunrise has helped shape my artistic vision. From the brilliant colors of wildflowers to the rugged beauty of the Rocky Mountains, nature is at the heart of every piece I make.

Backcountry Art & Tie-Dye began with a passion for creating one-of-a-kind, hand-dyed apparel using professional ice-dye and hot water irrigation (HWI) techniques. No two pieces are ever exactly alike, making each garment as unique as the person who wears it.

As the business has grown, so has my vision.

Today, Backcountry Art & Tie-Dye is expanding beyond wearable art to include handcrafted laser-engraved wood products, Colorado-inspired home décor, custom gifts, and fine art photography. Whether I'm engraving a mountain scene into natural wood, capturing a moose at sunrise through my camera, or creating a vibrant tie-dye shirt, my goal remains the same: to create artwork that reflects the beauty, adventure, and spirit of Colorado.

Everything you see here is designed and crafted in small batches with careful attention to detail. I believe quality comes before quantity, and I take pride in creating pieces that are built to last and meant to be enjoyed for years to come.
